I’ve wanted to start a substack forever because it’s no secret that I LIVE for long form content. I mean, I’ve been blogging like it’s 2009 since, well… 2009. I’ve never given the writing part up, I’m wordy as ever and now I have another outlet for it. I haven’t cared that lots of words have not been cool for the last eight to ten years. I can’t stop them from pouring out of my mouth.
It feels fun. New. Almost like a secret! It feels like it’s just us, not the entire internet that can see this thing. Am I writing a diary here? My inner tween self will never not be thinking of my diary entries and I’d be lying if I said I don’t go back and read what I wrote all those years ago.
So, here’s the deal. I’d love it if you'd subscribe. In doing that, you’ll get a little monthly letter from me (if you’re a longtime blog reader, think summer fridays style) along with a brand new 20-minute recipe each month. And since we know I love words, there may be a few other ramblings along the way.
